Bo originally came in as a breeder surrender. He is a total sweetie, but unsure of men. You can see how he is w/his foster dad in the video- it's taken a long time to get to this point. Bo greatly prefers women...he will just shy away/hide from most men. Bo is mostly good with other dogs, but prefers to just co-exist (he's not overly interested in playing with other dogs, he just kinda does his own thing). He can not live w/cats. He is very good at getting baths and even with the blow dryer. (pictures were taken on bath day).
Bo is house and crate trained. He does know basic commands. He is a malinois but isn't totally nuts any more. He bonds strongly with his (female) person. He will nibble fingers and lightly hold your hand in his mouth when he gets excited (typical of the breed). He will occasionally play a little ball, but his toy drive isn't high. Bo is a lower medium energy guy at this point. He'd love to have a family to love him and be the apple of their eye. He likes snoozing in the yard and hanging out. He'd love to go on walks and chill at the park w/you (not the dog park though, he's not into that kind of stuff).
We would love nothing more then to find Bo his forever family. He means a lot to his foster home, but we've always felt his true family is out there. He is looking for a quiet, adult home- female only would be great, or w/a quiet, gentle man (who is okay w/it taking Bo a long time to solicit attention from him). Malinois knowledge is awesome, but not necessarily required for Bo. Bo has always respected the 6' fence in his foster home and we feel he'd probably do fine with a 4 or 5' fence as well. We will be very selective on his home. Bo deserves the very best.
