Ace has obviously been someone's pet; he came in w/a recent groom job. He is house trained and doing well on his crate training (no accidents, but he will bark a little now and then). Ace was just neutered and is also a teenager, so he is still working some of that testosterone out of his system. He really likes to flirt w/just about any other dog, but is totally fine if/when they yell at him. Once they lay down the law, he leaves them alone. This behavior will start to ease w/time and training.
Ace gets along great w/other dogs and seems to be totally fine w/people. He likes to play w/toys and is an all around happy guy. We aren't totally sure what he's mixed with, he's obviously a sheltie, but we really think there is something else in there. He's not expected to get any bigger, though. Ace is a medium energy dude. He likes to play and is busy. He will need both physical and mental stimulation in his new home. He requires a physically fenced yard (4' minimum). He seems to be fine w/dog savvy cats. He'll be a fun dog for someone who loves the breed and wants an active companion.
