Yuki is new to foster care, but here is what her foster mom reports so far: "If I'm not throwing something she's at my feet. Sweet dog, loves disc, loves the ball, people and dog friendly, crate trained, quiet in the house, house trained, knows how to relax in the house, wants to be with you all of the time, rides well in the car, waits in a crate in the car well, has a good recall. I haven't had much time to find kids to bring her around, but if she doesn't like someone she growls and walks away or hides behind me. She's not confrontational about it. I don't see her being super speedy, but she has drive to do something with you, even if it's just disc in the yard."
Given this information, we feel that Yuki would do best in an adult home w/previous border collie experience. If you have a good frisbee throwing arm and love a quirky border collie, Yuki is your girl. She is a ready-made house pet- she just needs the RIGHT home for her. Yuki has been respectful of a 4' fence in foster care. She is a lower medium energy gal.
