We have no idea what her genetic make up might be. Some people think there is some terrier in there, some think she's a border collie mix, we've had every guess imaginable. Ultimately you can decide what you think she is. Missy is a very busy, active, playful girl. She is doing well w/rules, but it seems she was allowed to make her own rules for quite a while. She likes to play keep-away so we are working on her recall. She is respectful of the fence and will absolutely need one in her new home. Missy loves to play w/other dogs..and the more body-slamming and chase they like to do, the more she's into it. Missy has not been cat tested yet. Missy has kept her crate clean while in foster care.
Missy is looking for an active home. She absolutely needs to keep going to classes to learn proper manners and her commands. She will push boundaries so she needs someone who can hold firm and enforce the rules. She is a silly girl and a joy to be around, but she needs her brain to be kept busy. Missy's ideal home would be a home who will engage her both physically and mentally. She likes to play w/toys and we feel she could be a great agility, flyball, obedience, rally, etc candidate. (Missy does not appear to be an ideal candidate for SAR/Detection work, however). We would strongly prefer to place her in a sport/performance home.
Huge thanks to Alex (our local 4H'er) for working w/Missy in class!! She loves it!
