Copper is a pretty chill and easy going dude. He is fine w/cats and seems to be fine w/most dogs. He is fully house and crate trained and just an all around easy guy. Copper is a little on the heavy side right now, so he's on the weight loss program. He goes on short walks and loves playing ball.
Copper does show some lameness in his rear end from time to time. We are hoping as he looses weight that will improve, but he did also test positive for lyme. He is currently being treated, but given his age and unknown history, we expect this will be a condition that he'll have for the rest of his life.
Copper is a low energy dog. He is fully house and crate trained (although he doesn't really need to be crated). He's a senior dude looking for a fantastic retirement home. Copper needs a home who will continue w/his weight loss program, but also be okay w/him just being pretty low energy. He would love going for short walks and maybe playing ball in the yard or at the park. Copper does not require a physically fenced in yard- but will require supervision if he's outside in an unenclosed area. Copper would probably enjoy a quiet adult home the most.
