Barley is a typical puppy- he's got puppy energy but isn't too crazy. He's a medium energy level dude. He loves playing w/the other dogs and is very respectful when playing. He is cat tested and has been good with them. He loves people and is always happy to make new friends.
Barley is doing well w/his house and crate training. He will benefit from going to training classes in his new home- he's a border collie so he'll love to use his mind and learn new things! His foster family reports that he likes going for walks and enjoys a good run in an enclosed area. Barley likes to play w/toys but isn't toy crazy. We don't know if Barley has been around younger kids, but we think he'd be fine w/kids ages 10+.
Barley is a pretty nice, middle-of-the-road border collie. He's not totally chill, but not crazy nuts either. He is friendly and social and seems to just kind of go with the flow. He will do well w/an active family who can keep him busy- and in return he'll probably love to Netflix and chill at night. All of that being said he is still a border collie teenager, so he does need rules and his people need to enforce them. He likes to push buttons every now and then.
He also asks for forgiveness on his pics and apparent bad hair day- it was very windy the day we took his pictures so he's got a mountain-top sort of blown away look going on, he's normally much more regal looking then that. LOL
