Rip--UPDATED 4.7.13

  • Breed: Border Collie X
  • Age: 3 years old
  • Sex: Male/Neutered
  • Color: White Tri
  • Size: 35 pounds/21-22" tall
  • Vet History: Current on DA2PPL, Rabies, Heartworm Negative and preventative started. Avid Microchip implanted.
  • Adoption Fee: $300
  • More Info: Rip was a greeter dog at a cemetary!
  • Training: Rip knows basic commands and a few tricks.
  • Additional Info: Rip is a very friendly guy who's job it was to greet people at a cemetary down south. Rip was cared for, but the time came for him to find a new home.
  • Rip loves to play ball. He is crazy about a ball. He can get some pretty good air when he jumps to catch the ball too! Rip is good about giving the ball back and will play fetch forever if you let him! Rip's foster family has turned him into an awesome running partner! He helps his humans train for marathons! He was also trained to ski jor this winter! He loves that as well.

Rip is a very friendly guy. He likes people and would be fine w/kids ages 8+. Rip is good w/other dogs, but can be a bit herdy w/smaller dogs or other high drive dogs. Rip would probably be a bit too much for a cat. Rip would love a fenced yard to play in. Due to his Air-Jordan skills, a 6' fence would be ideal for him. Rip is house and crate trained. He is a medium energy guy. If you are looking for a fun dog to try dog sports (agility, flyball, etc), he could be a good hobby level dog! Rip would be an AWESOME running buddy for someone!

This foster dog is fed with food provided by Chuck and Don’s Pet Food Outlet.
